W dniu dzisiejszym otrzymałem maila ze sklepu LEGO o najnowszej promocji. Jeśli zdecydujemy się na zakup zestawów z serii Star Wars za kwotę 100 zł otrzymamy gratis minifigurkę szturmowca sierżanta (5002938). Promocja trwa od 15 do 31 października (nie wiem czemu maila dostałem dopiero 23 października?). W tym samym czasie (od 22 października do 20 listopada) obowiązuje także promocja z darmowym pociągiem świątecznym (40138), przy zakupach na kwotę powyżej 200 zł. Tak więc można upiec dwie pieczenie na jednym ogniu.

Dzisiaj największe portale biznesowe w Polsce zainteresowały się nieciekawą sytuacją z fabrykach LEGO na całym świecie. Jest to pokłosie przedwczorajszego artykułu na blogu LEGO. Chodzi o to, że może braknąć klocków LEGO w sklepach w okresie przedświątecznym, czyli wtedy gdy sprzedaż zabawek jest największa. Zwiększono także zatrudnienie. Jednak to wszystko nadal za mało aby w 100% sprostać zapotrzebowaniu. W odległości 100 km od Szanghaju w chińskim Jiaxing, w 2017 roku ma postać kolejna fabryka.

Po 12 tygodniach, po ponad tysiącu roboczo godzinach i z 215 158 elementów LEGO powstał największy na świecie Caravan z funkcjonalnym wnętrzem. Został on zaprezentowany wczoraj podczas wystawy w Birmingham. Całość została zbudowana przez 12 AFOLi. Pojazd mierzy 2,2 m wysokości i 3,6 m długości.
